Food is always great here! Potato soup, fried chicken sandwich (look at the size), double meat bacon cheeseburger, French dip sandwich! AMAZING! Try this place out! The best places to eat are always the ones that look like a mom and pop on th outside!!!
We love this place! Food was awsome, the service was so fast before we could eat our appetizer our food was presented. The staff was so attentive and treated us like friends. This place will become our go to place, beyond a cool place with their decore dedicated to veterans. Not only a discount for a veteran but their family too!
Everything was so good! We had the Burger, Shrimp & grits, Salad & kids' pizza. The kid's pizza was tiny but enough. The fries were so good & crispy! Our waitress knew the menu well & the owner is we was so delightful. I wish we lived closer, we would visit often. Thanks!
March 2024 ...came back the Saturday of Spring Break and it must have been the weather. Not as busy as we were expecting. Great food again. Tried the BB's Breakfast (full order. Wow. Really nice serving size too), children's chicken bites (yum!), and there is an option for children's veggie plate. Yeah for us! Locals know Ace's. We arrived on a Saturday when they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch. They were busy, but being patient always works out when there is good food in your future. Not a huge place and the waiting area is small. And that's okay. It works for Ace's. The staff are friendly and attentive. If you're needing a refill the area is small enough to catch their attention easy enough, they're just making everyone's meal time the best. The meals coming out of the kitchen... goodness. So much delicious food. I could eat it all. We had a simple lunch of blackened catfish and sinle patty melt. Yum. Really... all the food was looking good. We'll be back for sure.
We visited for the first time in four years. The food was very good, not streaming hot, but hot. This place had become quite busy after we waited for our orders. The atmosphere is great, decor; great. The service; excellent. The restroom was very clean as was baby changing station. No complaints! Definitely recommend this restaurant.
My wife, three kids and I have been here two times for breakfast and both times the waitresses have been very friendly and provided us with very good service. The food was hot and tasted very good. The atmosphere was inviting. The restrooms were old looking but they were clean. We enjoyed our experience both times we were there. This restaurant is becoming a family favorite and we will continue to return.
My kind of place Meaghaan was perfect. She didn’t ask me any questions. She brought me my food and she told me what to do. She gave me two bowls she said ones for hot food and ones for salad so I went and helped myself to the hot food bar and then the salad bar I asked her if I was gonna get some more food she says yes she’s bringing it so I’m waiting for it to come and I’m really excited. Definitely my kind of place
We ate terrific pork chops, baked catfish and country fried steak! A great local restaurant with friendly, accommodating staff. Yummy sides. Didn't have enough room to try the deserts... this time! Better than fast food!

I would say 5 stars because the service was nice, she did not rush us in ordering (first time visiting) and have been traveling and just needed a sit down, relaxed, and laid back place to sit in and eat. This place I am glad we did stop by and eat. We were unsure but when we came in we were immediately greeted, went to the potty, and sat down got some fried pickles, and ordered our first meal of the day! Country Fried Steak, better than pofolks! Broccoli was very tender and delicious. Fried pickles spears were amazing! We had some like these in Texas and these beat those! Good breading not too much and not too little. The ranch to dip them in was tasty! Would revisit if we ever come back by! They have other veggie and side options on the bar that are not on the menu, they'll give you a bowl to fill. Unsweet tea was good. We walked out with a bill under $50 for two.
